We measure it independently: every participant, provider, access point, and SMP active in your country, on the record. (Live jurisdiction snapshot on the HTML page: live participants, providers, and seats active in-country, measured continuously with no self-reporting.) ## Oversight needs a source outside the network Independent · not an accreditation body OpenPeppol delegates authority over the network to national Peppol Authorities — BOSA in Belgium, KoSIT in Germany, DGFIP in France, the NPa in the Netherlands, the ATO in Australia, IMDA in Singapore, and their peers elsewhere. Each accredits and supervises the providers operating in its jurisdiction. We do not accredit anyone; we scan the same public SML and SMP layer any sender resolves, keep the history, and join it to national registers — so your supervision has a corroborating source that does not sit inside the network it reports on. ## See every provider and participant in your country Your jurisdiction, whole Every identifier carries a scheme and ICD that ties it to a national register — 0208 to the Belgian KBO, 0009 to the French SIRENE — and every registration is attributable to the access point that serves it. A provider's own status page is a claim; an independent, third-party record of its access points and SMPs is evidence you can act on. We measure every endpoint on the network the same way — from multiple regions, with a quorum before any verdict — and track TLS certificate expiry, the classic silent access-point failure. ### Daily verdicts, kept Ninety days of daily up, degraded, and down verdicts for each provider's endpoints — the record behind a headline number, ready for a supervision file. ### From first wobble to recovered A timestamped severity trail for every outage: when it degraded, when it went down, and when it recovered — independent of what the operator chose to disclose. ### Monthly availability vs 99.5% Each provider month measured against the agreement's availability bar, so a provider drifting toward the line is visible before it breaches. ### The silent failure, tracked Expiry on every endpoint's TLS certificate — flagged while there is still time to rotate, so a lapse across your providers is a warning, not an incident. ## Anomalies that deserve a second look Network integrity · catch it early Some things on the network are not wrong on their face but are worth a question. We surface them as a feed: participants hosted off a provider's declared footprint, access-point certificate identity shifts, and split identities where one organisation resolves under several conflicting records. None of these is a verdict — each is a flag your supervision can chase down, with the evidence attached. ### What the feed flags The recurring integrity patterns across the network, counted — so you know where the questions cluster this month. ### The queue, in your jurisdiction The most recent flags touching participants and providers in your country, each with a severity you can triage. ## How clean are the identifiers in your register Identifier quality · data hygiene A participant identifier that fails its check digit or does not match the shape its scheme demands is a routing risk and a data-quality defect. No. PeppolStatus is independent measurement, not an accreditation body — we do not certify or accredit anyone. We probe the public network ourselves and keep the history, so the record is an unaffiliated evidence base you can corroborate your own supervision against, not a substitute for it. ### How do you know which participants and providers sit in our jurisdiction? Every participant identifier carries a scheme and ICD that ties it to a national register — 0208 to the Belgian KBO, 0009 to the French SIRENE, and so on — and every access point and SMP is discovered from the public SML and SMP layer. The national footprint is attributed by identifier country and by the provider serving each registration. ### Is any of this data private or scraped? No. Participation is public by design: to route a document the network must resolve every receiver, so participation is public infrastructure metadata. We read the same SML and SMP records any sender resolves, combined with official national business registries. Nothing private is scraped. ### Can we get the raw measurements, not just dashboards? Yes. Everything is available programmatically through a read-only REST API at api.peppolstatus.com/v1, and through an MCP server at mcp.peppolstatus.com for AI agents and assistants. The network-health endpoints are free; the oversight and market-wide analytics sit on the Network and Market tiers.
