Yes. Onfact is itself a Peppol service provider: the Onfact Peppol access point runs under the certificate its documents travel on, and we probe it directly.

What is the difference between Peppol and Onfact?

Peppol is the network: a shared set of rules and certified access points that carry e-invoices from one company to another. Onfact is software that connects to that network, and here it is also the access point: the company holds its own Peppol certificate, so no second operator sits between Onfact and the network.

How do I register or activate Peppol in Onfact?

Through Onfact itself. Registering for Peppol means your company number is published on the network against an access point, and with Onfact that is the Onfact access point itself. We do not use Onfact, so we do not describe the steps to activate Peppol in it; Onfact's own documentation does. What we can show is the result: once the registration is made, your Peppol ID can be looked up in the Peppol Directory.

How do I find my Peppol ID for Onfact?

Your Peppol ID is not something Onfact invents for you. It is your own company number, written behind a four-digit ISO 6523 prefix that says which national register the number comes from: in Belgium that prefix is 0208 for the KBO/BCE enterprise number, or 9925 for the VAT number.

Build yours, then look it up in the Peppol Directory — if it resolves, you are registered and reachable; if it does not, you are not on the network yet, whatever any dashboard says. The prefixes for every market are in the table there.
