Method

How is Peppol adoption per country measured?

A participant identifier is attributed to a country by its issuing scheme — the ISO 6523 prefix that names the national register the number came from. Counts are identifiers, not organisations: a company holding both a VAT-based and a register-based identifier counts twice here and once in the organisation total on Peppol statistics.

National totals move for two different reasons — companies registering, and our own discovery passes resolving identifiers that already existed — so each country page draws its movement with the discovery steps marked out rather than folded into growth.
